The Opportunity

Join us as a General Operative at our Barton Under Needwood factory, where you’ll be a key part of a dynamic, multi-skilled production team. Working on a 24/5 rotating 3 shift pattern, you’ll help produce high-quality concrete products in a collaborative and safety-focused environment. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, contribute to a high-performing team, and be part of a business committed to excellence.

• Operate and maintain automated block-making equipment and mobile plant, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Support the shift supervisor in achieving productivity and quality targets, contributing to team success.
• Diagnose and resolve production-related issues to minimise downtime and improve operational efficiency.
• Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards, demonstrating a commitment to a zero-harm workplace.
• Work to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards, maintaining high levels of productivity, housekeeping, and equipment maintenance.
