New Opening: Quantity Surveyor - Degree Apprenticeship

We are excited to open applications for a Degree Apprenticeship Quantity Surveyor, designed to nurture the next generation of talent. This role offers a unique blend of on-the-job training and academic learning, providing an excellent foundation for a successful career within the construction industry. Based in our state-of-the-art facilities, this is a golden opportunity for individuals passionate about engineering, innovation, and sustainability.

What will I do?
Whilst on site you'll be given a tailored training plan to work through, supported by both your allocated Mentor and your Manager. On a day to day basis you'll be given greater exposure to your division and the roles of your team members. 

Apprenticeship Overview:

💡Engage in comprehensive training program undertaking a Level 4 in Quantity Surveying and progressing onto a Level 6 degree in Construction Quantity Surveying

💡Work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical skills around construction and business operations

💡Support managers and in the controlling and monitoring of costs on construction projects

💡Learn about and contribute to our sustainability initiatives, focusing on reducing carbon emissions and enhancing efficiency.

🛠️ Assisting the team with the budgeting of construction projects

🛠️ Control of costs during construction projects, specifically highways

🛠️ Selection and management of specialist contractors

🛠️ To contribute to the mitigation of disputes using accurate records

🛠️ Recording, control and reporting of income and expenditure on a construction project

🛠️ Valuation of progress on construction projects

🛠️ To assist senior managers with the legal and contractual issues on a construction
       project

What you’ll need:

Our minimum entry requirements are:

📈 Essential - 5 GCSEs Grade A*- C or 4-9, including Mathematics, English Language

📈 Essential - Minimum of 104 UCAS points in further education
