The Opportunity

We now have an excellent opportunity for a Reliability Engineer onsite at our Cement Manufacturing Plant in Cauldon, Staffordshire. Internally known as a Preventive Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of the reliability and longevity of our operational equipment. Utilising your mechanical understanding and expertise you’ll develop and further enhance our Preventive Maintenance onsite to keep operational downtime to a minimum.

You’ll be a strategic thinker, following analysis of machinery and condition monitoring to understand in advance what parts need replacing, by implementing a plan to replace multiple items at once you’ll be able to reduce the overall downtime of equipment. 

You’ll coordinate with the wider maintenance team onsite for annual shutdown activities, ensuring all preventive maintenance tasks are completed in an appropriate time frame and that parts are available for the hands on team. 

Who you are

You’ll have a background in Mechanical Engineering, understanding a manufacturing process and be able to recognise wear on equipment in an industrial environment.

You’ll be an analytical person, able to interpret reports and implement strategies to help improve longevity of equipment.

Ideally you’ll have experience working within a heavy industrial environment.

You’ll ideally hold a Mechanical Engineering degree, or be keen to further develop your qualifications and skills.
