The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager (Civils Estimating) to join our team. You will play a critical role in managing the commercial aspects of our civil engineering projects, including the preparation of detailed cost estimates, budget management, contract negotiation, and evaluating project risks. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving financial performance and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Prepare and review detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
Manage project budgets and control costs to meet financial targets.
Lead contract negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Evaluate and manage project risks.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Who You Are
Proven experience in commercial management or civil engineering estimating.
Strong understanding of cost estimation methodologies and techniques.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Stakeholder Management at Senior Level coupled with the ability to lead and manage teams.
Proficient in the use of estimating software (CAD).
A degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
