The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to organise and oversee the manufacturing of our products. You will be responsible for the health, safety and smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output.
Responsibilities of the job include:
Ensuring that health, safety, welfare and environmental regulations are met
Assessing production and resource requirements
Working within budgets and operational timescales to achieve KPIs
Determining and ensuring quality control standards are met
Overseeing production processes
Working with planners to agree production schedules
Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
Using problem solving techniques to reduce downtime and maximise plant up-time (OEE)
Working in conjunction with the Engineering Manager to organise the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
Supervising and managing the work of employees under your control, organising relevant training sessions and carrying out performance reviews
Who are you?
You will have deep knowledge of production processes and procedures and the ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader.
You’ll hold IOSH Managing Safely or preferably NEBOSH qualification (or working towards)
With strong people management skills you’ll have the ability to train and develop your team
You are a problem solver, and a deliverer of process improvements
