The Opportunity

Have you ever wanted to maintain a brand-new purpose-built manufacturing site?

If so, we now have a great opportunity for you to be based on site at our newly constructed, purpose-built Asphalt production site in Cauldon. Covering Monday-Friday days 05:00 – 15:00 & an early finish on a Friday.

At this new-build factory and you’ll have an opportunity to lead the engineering function onsite as well as travel to our other local Asphalt sites to assist and upskill the engineering practices learnt from this new construction.

As the newest Asphalt Plant in Aggregate Industries, you’ll be working on state-of-the-art equipment and will have a clean slate in terms of practices in place. You’ll as part of your duties implement a PPM schedule and further develop the stores/ spares function onsite to keep downtime to a minimum. You’ll be attending both reactive and planned maintenance activities to help keep our operations running and have the opportunity to influence and create your own custom workshop.

Who you are

You’ll be an existing Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking develop processes as well as be a hands-on expert – you’ll find this is a more strategic role as you develop a stores system and PPM schedule that works for you as well as the site.

You’ll be apprentice trained, or hold a Level 3 Mechanical qualification. With further development available onsite, we will upskill and progress your career through external and internal training.

You’ll ideally have some basic fabrication skills, however we can provide training and qualifications where required.
