We have an exciting opportunity for a business focused and sales driven manager to lead an important sales territory as well as contribute to the commercial direction of the wider business. As a proven relationship builder, you will raise the business profile, bring on board new and loyal customers, contribute to the wider sales team, whilst achieving some challenging targets.

About the role
Reporting directly to the Witherley Services General Manager, you will be responsible for an annual turnover in excess of £1.1m. You will have strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of delivering year on year growth and continuous improvement in your respective field. Key elements of your role will include:
Actively winning new business, generating and following up on business leads, as well as reviewing dormant/prospect opportunities.
Developing and maintaining trading relationships with suppliers to maximise competitiveness on a sustained basis.
Developing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge and understanding of current and future product ranges, to enable proactive cross promotion to customers as appropriate.
Developing and maintaining a sales plan for the designated territory/market sector, which includes identifying and securing targeted opportunities within the territory.
Maintaining an understanding of your strategic direction, producing accurate ongoing forecasts and pipelines, as well as an understanding of competitor activity.
Implementing sales and marketing campaigns
Completing necessary administration to ensure the customer records system is accurately maintained.
Operating in line with Health and Safety Procedures, AI's Brand Values, Competition Law Compliance and other business processes and procedures.
