What we are looking for:

 

  • Completed electrical apprenticeship or equivalent and be qualified; City & Guilds, BTech, NVQ L3 or equivalent in plant maintenance
  • PLC experience, together with fault-finding and programming ideally with Rockwell, Allen Bradley and Siemens
  • Qualifications in 18th Edition wiring regulations and City and Guilds 2382 and 2391 would be an advantage
  • Ideally mechanically competent in; Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Conditional and Preventative maintenance systems
  • Experience in an equivalent engineering role
  • Recognition of environmental impact and working knowledge of appropriate environmental legislation
  • Self-motivated, with initiative and a proactive approach
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relations with others
  • Highly organised with demonstrable planning and delivery capabilities
  • Understanding of budgets and financial responsibility
  • A flexible approach to working hours
  • IT-literacy
