Yes, as long as it’s a visa that grants you the right to work in the UK, with no sponsorship required. We only offer visa sponsorship on roles where we’re unable to find the right person in the UK. We always meet the requirements of the UK Immigration Authority.

If you’re not sure what support to ask for, you can use the free ClearTalents.com site, to guide you through defining your own support needs. A simple online questionnaire, which is fully accessible, asks if you can be supported using the telephone, for example, or using a computer, pen and paper or travelling to and from assessment processes. Perhaps there are things which could help you perform better in face to face meetings such as a reader to explain assessment procedures or an interpreter to help you understand instructions. Whatever your circumstances are, ClearTalents.com will help you identify the support you should ask for in an assessment process.

Thousands of candidates apply to us every year but we realise there may be plenty of skilled, talented people who miss the roles we advertise, which is why we have a preferred supplier list of recruitment agencies.

It is standard practice to request employment references as part of the recruitment process. Typically we would ask for references that cover the last 6 years.

All employees will be required to comply with random, post incident or with cause drug and alcohol testing at any time during the course of their employment with Aggregate Industries.

Our Drugs and Alcohol policy is in place for the purpose of increasing the health, safety and welfare of all Company employees, contractors and members of the public and to assist the company in its corporate responsibility. It is your responsibility to be aware of the implications on safety and behaviour at work due to alcohol or drug misuse and understand that consumption of alcohol or drugs in your own time could affect your fitness for work.

Unfortunately, due to the level of interest we receive we’re unable to offer individual tailored feedback at the application stage. Usually where applications are not progressed to interview, it is because there are more suitable candidates that have applied, or the skills and experience outlined in the application do not match the requirements of the vacancy.  

We will always offer some feedback if it is requested after an interview.
